I just got the same machine at a garage sale. I can't get it threaded correctly. Could you pleae gide me. I am able to pull the bobbin through, but the needle does not advance and the thread breaks.

It's a Singer 15-90 clone. The market was flooded with these 'Made In Japan' machines in the 1950's and 60's. Hey, they (the Japanese) made some GREAT clones and some unbeatable straight/zigzag machines. If you ever see a 'Precision' machine, straight/zigzag in blue, made in Japan---snap it up. And if you find more than one, contact me, Bruce. :) I was a fool for giving away my Precision zig-zag. I made a few quilts on that one & only paid $5 for it. Loved how the feed dogs dropped, too.

@richfincm Thanks for sharing the info it is a cute little machine that runs smooth for the littl epower it has. Great for regular household sewing and repairs.
