iOS 4.x Text Jerking, Juddering Bug

It's a little hard to see here as my webcam doesn't record at 60 fps, but when trying to scroll the text up and down, it will periodically judder, rendering the text a blur, making it hard to read. One of the first things I noticed when I updated my iPhone 3GS from iOS 3.1.3 to 4.0 was that text would sometimes "vibrate" and be difficult to read when typing and reviewing an SMS or MMS. The issue remained in 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1, 4.2.1, and 4.3. I've wiped my phone and started with a fresh install (losing all my saved games!), and the issue remained.

Fixed in iOS 5.0! It only took 15 months!
