Ok, so I'm a tree hugger. I'm also a tree climber. I call it "extreme tree hugging." Here is why.

  • Man, this is creepy and sounds almost like a religion

  • Well, it's not ~a~ religion, but it ~is~ religious. Or spiritual, perhaps, if there is a distinction between the two.

  • What a lovely video, very beautiful indeed. Trees are one of my favorite things too.

  • Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.

  • Awesome vid. X^)

  • Talk about hangin' around trees ... :o)=)

    True words my friend! Tim

  • In commune with them when I canoe wild camp trek into nature (as on my channel). They harness flora & fauna wildlife that rely on them as we do for oxygenated atmosphere they contribute to. Principle of Tai Chi is practice under a tree early dawn hours to be receptive to chi earth energies (electro/magnetic, ley line type) that resonate from them more at that time of day. It's all about reconnecting with nature, if it takes a hug and a leafy branched hand shake to do it then why not.

  • I went and hugged a tree one time. It poked me with a thorn so I punched it. That hurt my fist so I kicked it. That hurt my foot so I headbutted it. I woke up an hour later covered in ants. Trees suck!

Just joking. I like trees, and was a Druid myself for a while before I found Asatru.

  • i climb trees too and i love it, but don't climb trees if it's about to rain, that's a death trap

the troubles is, some people give the glory to the creation, but don't consider the creator

  • Thanks for posting this. That Magnolia tree is beautiful. I have always felt very safe climbing trees. They are like strong old friends that will not let you down. I used to climb a venerable old white oak in Ohio near where I grew up. Thinking back on it, it was sort of like my "temple" - a place to rest and gain strength. I miss it.
