This bluegrass/major blues lick is great for resolving a progression. Start by playing a hammer-on on the 3rd string (2nd to 3rd frets), then playing down the open 2nd and 1st string. You continue the lick by using a pull-off on the 3rd string and descending a run using the G Major pattern on the 3rd, 4th, and 6th strings.
