I dont feel safe because of canada and mexico helped scheme up NAFTA so they could sell cheap shit to us with no taxes....Whats that ? Canada NOW thinks NAFTA is a bad idea because they are getting put out of work like we got put of work in the 90's. Take you stupid fucking mount me hats , tar sand, and cheap timber in that frozen paradise youve never see because you live in a border city that does it best to mimic american cities.

In terms of simple encryption, for text documents, LockNote has been doing the job for me. It is a non install encryption program (.exe, so Windows) that encrypts text, and requires a password to run. Supposedly, it uses AES encryption. I have been using it in Linux with Wine.
Although this doesn't help much with email and other filetypes, I thought I would mention it in the event that this may be useful to someone.

A few more things to suggest to anyone afraid of being censored and wanting to protect the things which they should have every right to keep private are these few programs and services. I suggest using Tor obviously since it's such a great program to browse anonymously and protect what you are doin on the web. I also recommend using Jitsi @ jitsi.org which let's you encrypt your IM conversations. I also recommend using riseup.net for an email service as al your emails are encrypted and secured.

I've voted on all the sites recommended to vote at on every episode of this new show which I love by the way. I will not stand by well our governments try and censor our internet. Internet should belong to the citizens of the world an not the governments. I cannot believe we are even facing this kind of war with our governments. Spying on peoples internet usage and their life period is morally wrong. I'm curently using riseup.net for emails, I highly recommended it for anyone.
