Just FYI, this game happens to be one of my favorite games on the Snes (I thank my cousin for introducing me to this game back when I was 6 or 7 years old). This is just me showing what Stage 1 is like on Hard Mode. I'm just showing my gameplay on Hard difficulty. On Hard mode, there are more enemies, more enemy fires, and situations get more tight.

  • Some of the sound effects seem like they were from Contra III

  • SNES simply was an alchemy of colorful mode7 graphics, cool sounds and cool sountracks. if i could choose between the best game console of today and the snes, i will surely choose SNES! those old games were really quick, fun and full of action, no time loss to explore and get bored, just catch the powerup's and keep shooting at the enemies.

  • no school like the old

  • my first game and still the best game

  • The team that worked on this game was the same that made Contra III and Castlevania IV, and aftes this game they leave konami and created Treasure (Ikaruga)

  • @SNESosT oh i see

  • @heerogunkenobi That it should be a big surprise that some sound affects were taken from Contra 3 since Konami worked on both.

  • @SNESosT im sorry but what are you trying to say i dont follow you

  • @heerogunkenobi its not like konami, you know the makers of contra 3 made this or anything..

  • @Temjin99 yeah i agree even the music of this game espellay the instrumetation sound samples sound like contra 3

  • @dumbasspauldentonkin I don't think that anyone at all would want to play Urban Champion in any dimension.

  • @LoveoneAn God damn, there are so many SNES and even Megadrive games that I think would work brilliantly in 3D. F-Zero? Panorama Cotton? Thunder Force 4? Stunt Race FX (which I would love to see brought back)? It'll probably never happen though because right now they're riding on 'zomg sooo nostalgic xD' NES games, including pap such as Urban Champion.
