Miyata Century - most beautiful MTB ever built

The most beautiful mountainbike ever built - the 1990 Miyata Century.

Take a look at my vintage Miyata Century, straight out of the box in April 2011. Completely untouched! Made by Miyata to celebrate their one hundred years of bicycle manufacturing. Very few were made, and only a handful sold in Sweden. Shimano Deore XT throughout - from pedals and saddle post to derailleurs, shifters and brakes. Carbon and aluminum frame, with 14 carat gold plating. Ritchey Megabite tires, Ritchey rims and a very rare Roo Trimble composite handlebar. One of a kind saddle with golden details to match the rest of the bike.

This was my dream bike when I was ten, and now, at thirty, I've got one that could easily hang on the wall in the Miyata museum, if there is one.

And no, it's not for sale.
