This is first time and last time I ever went to detention room, during my senior year- as the interpreter got angry with my attitude with her, when I was trying to help a student explaining what the interpreter said.... Out of the blue, she stood up in the classroom, screaming to tell me to go to the detention room!! It never happened to me before---- especially it is teacher's job to do that not an interpreter--- so check out my story! thanks What do you think? and did it happen to you before?

  • That sucks. I'm an interpreter and I never did anything like that while I worked in the public school system. You should contact RID and get her certification taken away (if she IS certified).

  • That was VERY unethical of the interpreter to do. that pisses me off. she knows better than to do that!

  • @pepper12343 because she's Deaf!

  • this is stupied i cant beleave u people are reall watchin this wats worse then 0 starz i wish i new becouse i would give this boring crap it

  • y did u use sign language?

  • Thats cool that you talk with sign language. Too bad I don't understand it -.-

  • Wow. I'm an ASL student and I haven't had interpreting classes or professional development classes yet. But I'm pretty sure interpreters are not allowed to do things like that. Sorry that happened to you!

  • The way I see it with your vlog, I think it is teacher's responibility to send you to detention room. Not the interpreter's job to send you to detention room. I think it is wrong and you have the right to complain and explain your issue about your interpreter with the supervisior who handles interpreter.
