Ok I will, we sometimes do freediving in the swimming pool with the dive training twice a week, and their's always an instructor who gives the training and watches for safety. But thank you for al the information! ;)

@MrPitsj0sjakkanit0 Buddy find a free dive course nearby if you can, just remember never free dive alone, always have a competent buddy watching you jsut in case something goes wrong so they can rescue you!

Nice vid! I'm an advanced open water diver, but I want to learn how to freedive because I think it's awesome to have such a control over your body, do you have any tips/sites for me? I can hold my breath for 2.16 minutes above water at the moment and I'm 16 years old. I hope you have some for me ;)

I would highly suggest trying to find a freediving class in your area. Traveling to Fort Lauderdale for one of my courses might be a stretch. When you took your scuba course you learned the risks and dangers with scuba diving and learned how to deal with them. They are similar risks in freediving and until you take course you will be unable to adequately deal with the risks. Never hold your breath in the water with out a trained buddy watching. Try to find a AIDA course in your area.
