Cory Pesaturo (Black FR7) and Don McMahon (Red FR7) get together to jam for the first time. We took turns playing bass lines while the other soloed.

Cory would have liked it much faster, but my drum machine only went to 260 bpm.

  • YEOW!! This is HOT!! Such amazing chops with both players!! Don's left hand is amazing!! thank you for posting. i am an FR3X player (and acoustic too!)

  • @bfulbright Bill, Thanks for the nice comment. I didn't realize you were such a fine guitar player. Your videos remind me very much of a great guitar player I worked with many years ago who I really miss.

    Don

  • The playing was good, but that digital accordion sounds like *ss.

  • I'll try not to take that personally. This was recorded on 8mm tape, not direct, so it certainly isn't the best sound reproduction.

  • Very nice playing, but its a shame that it is so plasitic feeling on Roland button accordions,i dont like them, better feeling on a acoustic accordion..

  • Very cool!!!

    I love so much!!!

  • Jsaras,

Believe me, if you heard one in person, you would change your opinion very quickly.

For being a Synth accordion, it sounds unbelievably natural. I own a red FR-7 just like Dons.

  • I doubt that negative remark jasaras made had anything to with the actual sound, and everything to do with the Luddite fallacy...

  • Great job!!! I enjoyed it very much! Keep 'em coming.

  • Have you every heard Pink Floyd on the accordion? Check it out

  • Unless you invented that digital accordion I don't see how you could take it personally. It just doesn't compare to a real acoustic instrument. I just watched a Victor Prieto video (acoustic accordion) and it just IS nicer. I hope that Roland doesn't "corrupt" him ;-)
