How to make a flaming glass:
Materials:
(1)Small tub (best to use a empty margarine container
(1)Lighter (preferably with a lot of fluid)
(1)Shot glass or small cup
(1)Pack of matches

Take the tub and fill it with water. Put the shot glass in the tub so it is completely filled with water. Flip it over so the water is still in the glass but it is not coming out and there are no air bubbles in it. Take the lighter and stick it under neath the glass and hold down the gas button. Bubbles should start rising into the glass and water should be coming out. Fill the glass up so there is only a little water left in the glass. Make sure the glass is flipped over so the gas wont escape. Take the lighter out and dry it. Leave the glass in the tub. Get a match ready and light it. Its best to turn the lights out so you can see the results better. Quickly take the glass filled with gas out and hold the match to the top of it. The gas should start to burn. It only last a few seconds but it looks really cool. This should be easy and fun. Make sure to keep your face away from the glass when its burning if you want to keep your eyebrows :D .

What you're doing is separating the oxygen and hydrogen atoms in the water molecules. Both of these are flammable gases, so when you light them on fire, they combine in a combustion reaction and produce fire and water vapor.

So basically, you're breaking water apart, and putting it back together.

It is pretty cool though. :)

Molotov's Coctail is a "Poor mans granade". It was developed by finnish alcihol idustrial ALKO during the II WW. It was originally made out of gasoline, pure alcohol and tar. When the finnish threw the bombs to the soviet tanks they yelled "Terveisiä Molotoville" what means "Say hi to Molotov", so they started to call it "Molotov's Coctail. It is pretty useles for a bomb, but it's easy to make so it is very popular.
