On August 22, 2009, Travis (K5HLR212) and I headed out for a railfanning expedition in Pittsburgh PA. Along the way, we encountered many interesting trains, and photographic venues, and journeyed to several other towns for ample footage. Enjoy!

Alright. I thought so. Q216 is usually a lot shorter than the Q226 anyways.

Not always. I caught them both last sunday and Q216 was only about 40 axels shorter

Did you know the OCS was coming through when you decided to take that trip?

Yes! That was one of the reasons for going on the trip, although I would've rather gotten the OCS somewhere else (like the trestle bridge in Beaver Falls), but at least we got to hear it's lovely K5LA.
