Accutane Month 5

Treatment was extended to August because I stayed on the 30 mg for 2 months rather than 1 (my derm wants to decrease the chances of my acne coming back).

Trying new, unrefined and all natural products from coastalscents.com: unrefined shea butter and african black soap.

AFRICAN BLACK SOAP:

UNREFINED SHEA BUTTER:

It is an excellent skin moistener and is used for aging skin, eczema and all forms of massage. It is also used to relax the muscles and to treat sprains wounds and colds. The unique formula of Shea butter also helps prevent and protect dry skin providing temporal relief from irritation, dryness and wind burned skin."

In regards to other Accutane side effects, I'm having trouble concentrating and it blows.

Other than that, perfect skin and outrageous confidence! =]

Hello! I am going for my bloodwork next week and if everything goes ok i will be able to start accutane in about 3 weeks... Would u recomend going on it? I have moderate to severe acne with some cycstic acne. Side affects... etc... would you say go for it? I tried everything else! :(

Accutane was the best decision of my life. It has changed my life so incredibly, and I have never felt so confident and free (of makeup dependence!). The side effects I experienced were not severe, physically, but I did experience some mental effects. My concentration and comprehension ability suffered, along with an increase in my moodiness. All has subsided now (i have been off for over a month).

I say go for it. Definitely.

I am starting Accutane next week and your videos have really helped me understand the whole process.

I was just wondering, apparently you can not have hot showers while on Accutane. Is this true?

Some people have dry skin to the point where they cannot take scalding hot showers. I've yet to have a problem with this, but I have not had severely dry skin (see list of supplements) while on Accutane. I've yet tot go in a hot tub, so who knows.

im gonna be put on accutane in about 2 months, after my doxycycline is odne.

and im just a little worried about getting the side effects like certain diseases and depression.

know this video is over one year old but I bet that extra month did good. I believe your dermatologist is very careing about your skin and as you said, 'reduce the risk of relapse'. How is your skin today. I am doing accutane now, half into month 4. My skin has now started to look better, recently. I am doing 40mg a day and weigh 155 lbs.
