Dr. Jerry Wong discusses the importance of developing realistic expectations for prospective hair transplant patients.

Below is a transcript of the hair transplantation video for your reference.

"I think it's extremely important. When patients come in, they're told right from the start, especially Norwood 6 patients, that they're going to need X amount of grafts. We don't say that we're going to do this and make it look better. We try to give them the overall picture of what it's going to take to achieve the final result. The other thing about patient education is that when a patient comes in, you show them photographs that look really nice, but a lot of times they want to see these patients who had it done and actually talk to these people, and actually go see them, to see what their results look like in person. People who want to do that and have the opportunity to do that, we luckily have patients who are happy to talk to potential clients."

Dr. Jerry Wong is a highly esteemed member of the Coalition of Hair Restoration Physicians and recommended on the Hair Transplant Network.
