As the fallout from last week's protest over controversial Jamaican cleric Abdullah Al Faisal continues, Muslim human rights activist Al Amin Kimathi was released on a 100 thousand shillings cash bail. The activist who had been arrested over last Friday's Muslim protests within the City Centre is being charged with incitement and resisting arrest. Meanwhile the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights says it will launch an inquiry into last Friday's fatal demonstrations even as Muslim clerics in Mombasa differed sharply on whether or not to hold the planned demonstrations in the coastal town this Friday.
