The irreplaceable Lis Sladen. God rest her soul. :')
-
All the more poignant now that Elisabeth Sladen is no longer with us.
Rest in Peace.

what episode is the very first clip from?

You tube won't let me post the URL for the Let it be version of this song, however you just need to search Beatles Two of us for it ....

Steve's Beatles page (an excellent resource for lead singers on Beatles songs) lists this as John/Paul (ie Paul secondary) but I'd reverse it or even make Paul the lead singer.
ON the vide below, it appears Paul is doing most of the singing; John does the whistling (a truly excellent job of whistling also -- non-saracastic (-:

This is a great Dr. Who video.
About the Two of us:
While the Beatles were clearly rock, I think this song would fit in nicely as folk, country, easy listengin, and so forth.

Thanks for this. I'm in the US, and for those of us on this side of the pond this was the pair that defined Doctor Who. We mostly didn't care much the Doctors that followed Tom Baker, and while we liked many of the later companions, none of them ever compaired favorably next to Sarah Jane.

Luv that shy/crafty grin of Tom Baker's.
whats the episode at 0:17?

Unless you meant the one where she's wearing a green jacket?
