My humble opinion (which doesn't mean shit-lol) I don't think Mary Kay should have spent one day in jail. The relationship was consentual, and calling it "rape" is absurd. That being said...HOWEVER I think she should have permanently lost her teaching certificate for sleeping with a student. And of course, no adult should be sleeping with kids.

Some people are very mature at 13, which Fualaau claims to have been. They never gave up on each other, and I don't feel like it WAS manipulation given everything they've both been through for the relationship. It may have been prudent to wait 5 years for him to be 18 vs. 7 years in prison, even just out of respect. That being said, I support them and wish them all the best. They didn't CHOOSE to make the relationship public, and it's really nobody's business what is in the hearts of others.

she needs a reality check, and as for all those punks who think its right for this relationship to be the way it is, then imagine your mother fucking a 13 year old boy and tell me if that is ok...if you feel it is then there is no reason why then i respect your opinion; if on the other hand you feel it is wrong, but it is ok for these two people to be together, then youre a hypocrite; if you feel its wrong and their relationship is wrong too, then I respect your opinion too.
