Yes, they got a bunch of money from OUR government TO PAY OFF THEIR BIG WIGS. So they could go into bankruptcy.

We the people PAYED OFF the bigwigs so they could get their millions and millions, while we had to pay for it. They dug out all of these bailouts just for this cause.

Believe me, the president of GM is not retarded. It's the stock holders short sightedness and concern for short term gain that kill GMs prosperity. We can put a man on the Moon but we can't build a compact that even comes close to the Accord or Camry. But lets sell em at a Loss anyway. The past owners of a Neon will propably never buy Dodge Ram for example. Or any domestic for that matter. What's wrong with Just making what makes Money. Screw the stock holders. Considering those who buy American are not especially discerning to start with - only 45% Ford owners and 35% of Chevy have degrees, as compared with 70% Honda owners (Forbes) - I would say "consider the source." Then look at the actual repair rankings published by Consumer Reports, which, to say the least are more objective, ergo a more valid indicator of actual quality than the feedback of some redneck's impression of his F-150 straight off the lot...
