I love the magic mouse, I think this is the mouse Apple owned us long time ago and we deserve it (after the disaster of almighty mouse were the 360 ball never works well) but I have to say I really hate to change batteries so often, hope to get this wonderful thing soon and make the life and work much easier.

this is unnecessary crap! One charge would last more than a month! so why to mess up a usb-slot and desk for something you need just once a month? i think that why apple got just a charger..

@simonps1966 no, not everywhere AA batteries are cheap. In some countries they are expensive.

AA batteries are so cheap and the mouse is not power hungry like a mobile phone etc.

Why buy this product?

I'm using 2 AA-sized rechargeable batteries and I hardly charge it once a month even I use it for 10 hours a day. Really, why should I buy this stuff?

I hardly find myself charging my magic mouse batteries like once every month. Nothing too revolutionary.
