This is a short movie that's part of a small series made by Disney.
It's called "Legenden aus dem Ring des Feuers" (Legends out of the Ring of Fire) and this episode is called "Wie der Mond entstand - Eine Geschichte aus Thailand" (How the moon was created - A story from Thailand).
If anyone can tell me the english title of this series I would be glad.

It's only in German but if you want to, I can give a brief plot summary.

I think it was composed for this series only. Probably, it isn't much longer than this short part in the beginning.

This used to be aired over the Disney Channel in Southeast Asia. It had great stories from the region like this one and another one about how the Durian fruit came to be (from the Philippines I think). I miss it. :(
