@migs720 I dont know what kind of culture you have there in "Papua New Guinea" as your profile claimed to be (or just a Filipino putting up a fascade or mideo itself) but there is nothing deeper than this no talent ugly artist who was successful of getting everybody's attention by trashing something that is Divine and Sacred. He does nOt respect the Eucharist therefore he does not deserve our respect on every level.

@macapagalkurakot Hey man, respect the views of others. The world can't be seen in only one angle. Keep an open mind. That's the problem with traditionalists nowadays. They think that there's only one right way of doing things and that'll never be the case ever again in this modern world. Times are changing. Besides, what IS art anyway? It isn't just painting a canvas or sculpting a rock. It's everything that sparks emotion and interest, may it be good or bad. Respect dude. Respect.

This is amazing. At least with Mideo I know that there's still hope for the Filipino artistic scene. People just have to learn to look deeper. You can't be blinded by the initial emotion sparked by a piece of art. As a Catholic, I WAS kind of offended when I saw his most recent exhibit but I could still appreciate its message as a whole. More power to Mideo.
