Pointe du Hoc was a strong German defense which was heavily bombed prior to D-Day to help the 2nd Ranger Battalion take the point. Today there are large holes in the ground from the bombs, along with much bunker damage.

    lolisho0, yes, the game makers did a great job recreating what our great fighting forces experienced there. I'm so glad they try to keep it historically accurate in some sense. It provides us with a taste of history and drives our desire to learn more.
