!!! I didn't know he was dead. I was watching Portlandia and they mentioned a fictitious band "Sparklepony," which I recognized as a reference to Sparklehorse. I hadn't thought about this song in... shit, probably 12 years before that reference. I looked it up a couple weeks ago. I had no idea Linkous had killed himself, though. :( RIP, buddy. Thanks for the memories.
