Palacio Presidencial Habana Cuba build in 1920 by the president Mario Garcia Menocal, it was assaulted in 1957 by one of the three different dissidents fashions opposing dictator Batista, with the intention of killing the dictator and avoiding the communist take over by Fidel Castro.

PRESIDENCIAL PALACE ASSAULT

On 1 of January 1959 Fidel Castro was the commander of the victorious army, adore by the Cuban people, who gave him absolute power ,he use that power to convert Cuba to communist. On 13 March 1957 he was the commander of an small group of guerrilleros being chase by Batista’s army.

If the assault would have been successful the leaders of the DIRECTORIO REVOLUCIONARIO would had have that power and Cuba would not be communist today.

Gracias por las tomas bellas del Palacio pero sobre todo por la explicacion del intento por los miembros del Directorio Revolucionario de eliminar al dictador impidiendo asi la llegada al poder del comunismo representado por Castro y su camarilla. @RIEL215 El 10 de Marzo de 1952 el General Fulgencio Batista da un golpe de estado, inmediatamente se crean grupos para derrotarlo en una lucha armada, los estudiantes crean el" Directorio Revolucionario", Fidel Castro crea su "26 de Julio" integrado por muchos comunistas.El 13 de Marzo de1957 el Directorio Revolucionario lanza un asalto al Palacio Presidencial con la intencion de matar a Batista de haber sido exitoso Cuba no seria hoy comunista.De los 50 asaltantes murieron heroicamente 25

On March 10 1952 General Fulgencio Batista commit a Coup D'at.Two groups were created to outpost the Dictator, The university students create el "Directorio Revolucionario", Fidel Castro with some communist create

"26 de Julio". On March 13 1957 the Directorio Revolucionario launch an assault on the Palace with the intention of killing Batista, it fail, 25 of the revolutionarios die out of 50.Cuba would not be communist today if they sussed.

The Palace was guard by 150 soldiers.
