  • In my opinion, perhaps is one of the most beatifuls overtakings in F-1 history.

  • I'll never forget, say goodbye (says mansel to berger) good old times, man!

All without using executive things like Kers and DRS and...all the stuff yn :3

  • Class. Pure, simple class. Possibly one of the best ever F1 overtakes.

  • You have to bare in mind this corner is a 4.5G+ corner. Insane!

  • @mellilore it happend to mansell in suzuka , got in the dirty air of senna on turn one ...... after this . 1991 i believe .

  • Genius. Pure genius.

  • @arena2101 As crazy as it may sound, "marbles rubber" would help in seeing again passes like that. What is really killing todays F1 is not rubber but aerodynamics. In nowaday cars Nigel wouldn't ever get the tail of Gerhard in that turn, because today slipstreaming into fast turns gives the pursuer more troubles than advantages, the opposite back then. Blame front-end aerodynamics improvements, that allow cars to be fine when alone and quite bad when having another car right ahead.

  • @SuperMikedyer

Sorry but just HOW was it deservedly Piquet's??

Look at his three wins............ Germany, he was in a lowly third place and won ONLY because Prost and Mansell broke down in front of him. Hungary.. he won because of a loose wheel nut on Mansell's car after being well beaten...again. Italy, Senna had him well beat in an inferior Lotus Honda but drove off the circuit at the Parabolica.

IMO...the luckiest world title in the history of the sport.

  • @arena2101 What about when Vettle overtook Alonso round the outside with two wheels on the grass.

  • @tonypap1 I agree with you but you mean prima donna. PMSL @ pre-madonnas.

  • Mansell was the bravest of them all. His balls were hand carved from blocks of granite.

  • Both Mansell and Berger were great drivers. In my opinion, Berger also deserved a championship, like Nigel. I wish Ferrari had treated Mansell in a better way, he was definately a better driver than Prost and he could have done many great things if he stayed with Scuderia. Although his decision to leave the team proved successful.
