For some reason, knowing that your granddaughter prefers watching old school SS makes me happy to hear it. I grew up in the 80s too, but just the same nothing beats old school Sesame Street. Brings back good memories :)

I grew up watching in the 70's. I tried to watch Sesame Street with my grandaughter a few months ago when she was sick. It was just horrible! I bought her the "Old School, Vol. 1" dvd. My son says she refuses to watch the new shows now. It's Old School Sesame Street for her or nothing at all!

i might sound crazy but someone answer me : there's a sesame street about trying something for the first time. i don't remember much of the lyrics and i doubt 1/5 of the line would help, reply if you know the song :D

When the teenagers loiter outside our house, we've got a corner home, I get on my piano and play this song , followed by I love trash, followed by C is for cookie, followed by rubber duckie. They scatter like roaches. Works every time. Misguided miscreants wouldn't know good music if it came up and bit them.
