Well, I can honestly say you and Jay dance a heck of a lot better then me and my horse Secret haha. She kinda shakes her head and thats about it, ask for me I don't even think there's a word for the kinda dance I'm doing haha. It's really fun just hanging around with your horse though huh? It brightens my day ;)

@EasySilence64 Thanks mate :-)
Yeah, hanging out with a horse is the best thing ever! Enjoy every second. With the dancing: It is just a further development of ground work...you put your energy towards his bum and he has to move his bum away, you do the same with the chest etc. and then you put it together to "dance". And horses love it!

@Marenlene Maybe I should try that with Secret. She can get pretty stressed about things and tightens up. Maybe doing some "dancing" like you do with your horse will relax her a little bit. I love her to death, and hate to push her when it comes to dressage (she loves to jump haha) shes one of those horses where too many things at once can cause big problems mentally. Could I get your opion? You seem like a very good horseman-woman haha. Should I try some of this dancing? Think it would help her

@EasySilence64 Hi,
I definately think that all kind of relaxed and natural ground work is good to build a better horse-rider relationship. As I said it might look like dancing but is just a combination of several gentle commands. For many horses it is a bit like playing and as far as my experience goes they seem to like it. It also gives you another perspective to your horse - the world looks different from a saddle than from the ground where you are eye-to-eye.
Good luck!
