After some modification to the inside to make it compatable for a gas motor, it's done!! I wanted to hear the new G26 and Bennett muffler once more so I fired it up. The motor ran perfectly out of the box!!

  • Where did you get that?

  • @MrGocops I found it at a hobby shop in Mass. a few years ago. Cox doesn't make this model anymore unfortunately. If you have the means to scratch build a kit I would recommend this model from a reputable name. It flies great!!

  • wow!! my dream plane!!!! perfect size, colour, everything!!!! love the 4 stroke motor too!!!! where do you get one of these? i have a smaller foam version electric, but once i get better at flying i want one of these!!!! most beautiful plane ever!!! A+

  • @bruiserhzj this model is from Cox but I don't think they make it anymore. It's a 5th scale, fairly easy to fly just a little tricky to land due to the typical drag that bi-planes cause. Thanks for your comment!!

  • Thanks mate for ur advice. It sounds great but It has been sitting in my room since last week due to the weather conditions. Also I might paint it and put lights so i can fly it during the night.

  • @leon6266 that would be great!! If you can, take some video of that night flight.

  • quel moteur a tu utilisé pour ton waco

  • @19satellite71 I found one on great plane. How much did yours coast.

  • Thanks satellite! i'll do my homework and see what i can dig up. no other plane stacks up to the YMF-5 waco!!! you should be proud.

  • @leon6266 it flies great!! The rudder was slightly warped from the factory but it didn't effect the flight characteristics. Just remember to keep some power on during landing if you haven't flown a bi-plane yet. Enjoy!!
