I tried to do the exact same kind of video with mine a while back but it was too dark. Too late in the evening.

also mp4 is easy to edit in programs like sony vegas pro.
cons: using the EV exposure settings is a bit tricky and rarely yeilds good results. such as if your in a dark room might as well leave it dark if you put it on EV+ for anything it gets jerky and you can see lines which i presume are actually grain in the plastic lens housing. also the sound is ok but the mic is a condensor and the lcd screen makes the high pitch whine like a tv being left on and its very audible.

Good things: It has a very clear cmos very little pixelation if you use the right settings. If you use the near setting things within 5-10 feet look crisp while as the background is a bit fuzzier, distant is the exact opposite). The still photos are also great looking and beat my 8mp nikon coolpix camera. Not with the camera but included in good is that it uses AA batteries which the rechargables are now $5 for 2 + a usb charger at wal-mart. and sdhc memory cards are dirt cheap on line.also MP4
Hey man, I'm looking to get this camera I wanted to ask some questions. Does it make a noise while zooming or any other strange noises? If you could please tell me anything that may be wrong with this camera and some good things.
Thanks

if you use external mic'ing you can easily match it up with the video audio stream. it also does not have an external mic in so external micing has to be done on say a laptop. I got this to record VIDEO strictly i dont care about audio as much as I just wanted video footage to do stuff for music videos and this was the cheapest cam at the time. so far ive been welll well impressed with the video quality for the price ($79) and it does what I need it to.

from what I've looked at for around 400+ you can get a sony xacti which has superior zoom since the agfa doesnt have optical zoom only 5X digital and it can record up to 1080i while as the agfa only gets 720p (60 fps I believe could be 30 though). as I said the camera is great for the price and you can mod the little bastards like a champ with phoenix lenses and micro tripods. I came up with an idea to take a targus micro tripod and add suction cups to easily use as a mountable dash cam.

but yes good: VIDEO QUALITY, FILE COMPRESSION AND TYPE IS GOOD, LIGHT PORTABLE AND CHEAP cons: CMOS DOESNT PICK UP WELL IN DARK CONDITIONS AND THE EXPOSURE SETTINGS ARE RUBBISH (That is common with most hand held cmos cameras though like the Aiptek DV line) ZOOM MAKES A CLICK (I dont even use it) AND THE LCD PICKS UP AS A HIGH PITCH NOISE THATS NOT BAD BUT NOTICABLE. I'd recommend the camera to anyone but I'd only do so if your more interested in video than recording say like a birthday party.
