this cartoon was on boomerang yesterday that part with them feeding each other milk was sooooo gay especially when the other kitten literally pushed im outta the way for sum milk OMG it was so wrong

This is the first Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon to win the Oscar for best animated short film. In the 1930s, Disney dominated the awards. In the 1940s, MGM dominated, though Disney and Warners Cartoons each won one award that decade And this is indeed the only Oscar winning cartoon directed by Rudolph Ising, who isn't as well remembered as he should.

Too bad censorship of the time required those 5:30 bottle geysers -- animated boobs would have certainly been more interesting for sure.
