What's good is, you see, they are open. They are very open. And in order to be successful, to love, to live, you have to be opened. These people, they are all open. This is good thing.

So, now, Vogue is the sister to that over here looking at megazine. And they are saying. "Oh my. Let me see. How I do that. Okay. How I do that" Boom. Megazine.

Wacking started in LA in the underground clubs in LA with Pioneers Arthur, Andre, Tinker, Monte, Billie Star, and I am sure Mr. Free Man.

These guys they danced together a lot just in the club, you dance together.

And what they did originally, Wacking was called Garbo. Abstratic Garbo. The icon at the time, all movies where you could see a star. You tried to immitate of the star. So in the club, "watch me do." that became Garbo.

Wacking is the dance that we were done in underground gay clubs in 70s. Voguine is this East Coast counter part. What was done on the East Coast in the 80s in the underground gay clubs. It was influenced by Mike of the Model, Posing, and Balletness, Ezyptians, Gymnastics, wheel all the jumping, Ballet, all ot that, mix all together.

In LA, in the 70s, Locking and Wacking were going on two sepatate tracks. I mean Don Campbell he is one that created Lock. That's your Lock.

I mean that's same.

The only separate thing is Locking is Lock.

What Shabbadoo does, Shabbadoo was first guy went from, that learned from gay club. He was the first straight man learned from the gay clubs, and brought it to the straight clubs. What he did, he mixed Wacking with Locking. That's why his style is called Shabbadoo.

As I am 49 years old, in the 70s, we were lot freer, and it was about giving, And you just have to give. Without giving, you don't get.

Yes. Like as I said, I am 49 years old. I was born in 1959.

In the 60s to the 70s, it was out of those social parties where your mother, your grand mother, everybody was in the same room (just dancing.) And you just did as a community thing.

I was referring to what Archie was saying about dancing and living in general... he is such an inspiring person, and so is Tyrone Proctor! I already told the latter I can't wait to meet him! When it comes to history, I think I know a little and more about the issue than does the "general" dancer, but I'm open for any teaching :)

Should anybody seek the truth from some 1 who "lived" it and saw it in d gay clubs as it was happening in d 70's...and is not sayin some1elses story...U need to see and live Tyrone Proctor in person my friend!!

It is hard to hear what archie is saying when you don't understand what the translator is saying (portuguese??). I managed it though and these are words of TRUTH!!

And the dancing is unbelievable! I sat there with an open mouth watching it and I couldn't think of anything else! Indescribable!
