i do understand some warehouses incorporate programmed lifts that have each tier programmed so you can hit a button and it extends to a pre set height for more productive and fluent motions. would be nice but among many of us i find no issues with floating right in and out. ;p

I have been driving lifts for over 15 years, I for one know. and when it come to receiving a truck i want a lift due to most of the double stacked pallets, and time is money. but when productions comes along, a power jack gets the job done much better with less skill required, any joe or jane can operate a jack. a lift is a much different story, especially when throwing in the height factor of 3 or more tiers.

and with less energy used, weather being propane or electric forks. especiallly for this short of distance, my toyata zoomer jacks go all day long running almost a quarter mile warehouse. we charge when we goto lunch and were good on 12hr shifts. the problem with lifts is the blind spots, near the end of a long shift you dont want to turn your head as far to get a full 360.

see the problem with this is a electric jack can accomplish these turnarrounds much faster than a fork,
