Its not a rule, read the Federal Aviation Regulations. Cameras do NOT give out radio frequencies.

Nice video. I had the opportunity to fly on the now-defunct ExpressJet Airlines in the summer of 2008 before it went out of business. I l flew from Ontario,C.A. to San Antonio,Texas. That was my first non-stop flight from C.A. to Texas.

why does every bone head think we don't want u to use electronics because they give out radio interference... if there is an emergency.. you are focused on your camera and when the flight attendant yells to brace your gonna be like what?! it's because we need your attention !!

Perhaps I jumped to saying what I said. I think I was not being serious. I have never read the it is not prohibited to have cameras. I have heard and maybe even read otherwise. I am not a wanna be jetliner pilot. So I don't know much about their regulations. Private pilots may mind that tho.

This video was taken on the first day of ops for Xjet out of Kansas City. Although we were a Co-Ex flight the X-jet flight was parked right next to us.
