@siliyemoodislam but you are not answering my queery. i am talking about the brutality that needs to be injected in the perception of so many people through so many years. in my homecountry Malta the chatolics regard "Good" Friday as the most important day, even more important than Easter.
moreover, the cycle of birth death and rebirth has been since the time of the Upanishad which is regarded to be the most ancient of scriptures. cycles of familarity trasnscend time and even locations.

In reviewing my comment i have to say that you cannot "like" the Passion of the Christ. It takes a lot to stomach viewing a man being beaten and crucified. Moreover, they stress that this is the basis of our religion, of our system of belief. That this brutality is the crux of what we should unite for. some of you may counter my argument in speaking about the resurrection being the actual basis of catholicism. However, if it was not for the illustrative depiction of this.what of the resurection?

I never liked the passion of the Christ. But with this music, you can really feel Jesus as a man with human disturbances and fears. Very well made.
