Mega Man X Playthrough Part 3/10

Read this first!! This is just a casual, average joe's playthrough of Mega Man X for SNES. I wasn't aiming for perfection, like getting through the entire game without ever getting hit or dying (I died quite a few times throughout the whole playthrough, but since it's not very fascinating to watch someone die in a video game as many times as I did, I edited out all the deaths). I also didn't attempt to collect every Heart Tank, or get the Hadoken Fireball. I was just playing through the game for fun. That said, this may help those of you who are stumped on how to defeat a certain boss, find a certain upgrade, or get through a certain stage.

In Part 3 of this video series, I blast my way through Spark Mandrill and Armored Armadillo's stages.

@utubegaragesale Hmm... you're probably thinking of Flame Mammoth. Spark Mandrill's weakness is definitely ice, since it does heaps of damage, and freezes him in place.

Wow. It's been a long time since I've played but I forgot what an awesome bass line Spark Mandrill's stage music has. And that was some punch to the face you took when you dispatched Spark Mandrill. :D

When I played this in my younger years I never figured out that the boomerang could pick up items. You'll never believe how I got the heart.

I first got the weapon upgrade, then I came back to this point, charged up the ice blaster and created an ice platform lodged in the wall, then quickly jumped from its edge before it shattered and tried to make it around to the tip of the heart's platform.

This took me like a week of solid trying before I got it. XD
