great advice! question for you: do you know the name or the number of your $17.50 cellular plan? what does it include as far as minutes are concerned?

what do you pay for data if you can't find wireless?(imo, one of the best things about having an iphone is being able to find directions when you're not at home, and you can't guarantee you'll find a hotspot but no matter where you are you're almost sure to get data through the cell phone network)

Hi! Sorry i dont happen to know the name, actually i dont think it even has one, if you go to a nearby store they should have like these little papers on the counter and youll see the BIG 17.50 plan on it. It includes 200 mins BUT after 6pm and weekends UNLIMITED!

I dont pay any data plans or anything, i have wifi at home and yeah i cant use the GPS or internet EVERYWHERE but im not paying 70 bucks a month either so you decide :D IF you grab a plan without data GOOGLE APN CHANGER OR call rogers and ask them to take DATA OFF as the iphone will recieve data and then you will be charged a CRAZY amount of data i think its like 1mb 20 to 30 bucks!!!

got mine a while and its cool. but whats sucks now is that they changed the product upgrade to 2 years instead of 1 so i cant upgrade to the possible new iphone coming out this summer, i have to wait another year, which sucks. unless i buy the phone from another reseller

Im not sure about that ill just have to go check out my contract. Thanks for the info though! And a quick note, there wont be a new iphone coming out in summer its just a new os IPHONE OS 3.0 dont worry, we iphone 3g owners will still have the latest gadget for about a year or so. :D

well the only downfall to that plan is no txt you pay 25cents per txt but i got an additional 12$ value pack that includes various stuff and i think 125 sent txt msgs

yea u can just pay the 20 bucks for 200 mins and unlimited text and its only 20 bucks for 500 mb which is all u need really cuz thats what the average person uses..... just puttin that out there cuz thats the plan i want to get

I have an iPhone 3G from Rogers, for 1 year and a half. No complaints! I have never experienced a dropped call. 3G works like a charm! Plus, I have never had to replace my phone due to damages! So I can call myself a satisfied customer.

Trick: "you have 15 DAYS trial then you can cancel your service" OOOBS!!! I didn't see the OR: "or 30 minutes of usage"!!!!!!!!!! Obviously very sleazy!

I wish Apple set a more strict service for their phone against this overly greedy and large company.

When they put u on hold, they give you the option of calling back or cancelling your service!! NO JOKE SERIOUSLY!

well the iphone 3g now is 99 bucks now i dont know how much is it if i get it without data plan cuz im thinking to buy a ipod touch might as well get the iphone 3g

Just wanted to mention, I spoke with rogers on April 18, the 17.50 plan is no longer available. Though they openly supported buying an iphone and not purchasing a data plan, they made it very clear it was the only data oriented phone they allow that with.
