It would be more efficient to have a drag-select-enclosed function, and or to use the list of nearby avatars to select avs for muting - perhaps just add some checkboxes to the nearby avatar list.

Actually when u derender in emerald viewer,they reappear after a relog or even if either you or the derendered avatar teleport away and back again.. whereas Kirstens supermute will keep the desired avatar muted until you choose to unmute them ;)
