Taliban Spokesman Mujahid Zabiullah Speaks Out

A Taliban spokesman gives an EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW TO CNN's NIC ROBERTSON, saying U.S. troops will never win the war.

I am waiting for an exclusive interview with a top member of the Afghan Taleban. The room is small. Few possessions. A gun by the computer. There is only one way in and only one way out of this safe house. We agreed not to reveal the location but on the way we were watched. Could this be a set up? He claims that Taleban in Afghanistan are getting support from across the border, from Pakistani Taleban. But says, they are not involved in the bloody conflict that threatens the stability in nuclear armed Pakistan .. Whats the relationship between the Taleban and AlQaida?

We are not under the command of Al Qaida. Some people are coming to fight and we say welcome. We are from this country, we are the boss .. We do not ask for any fighters from Europe. We dont ask them to come. If they come freely - yes, also, we dont need foreign fighters. For example, in some provinces we have suicidals for the next 3 or 4 month.

He wont tell me how many foreign fighters are coming or how many Taleban there are, but he boasts about their support - says - Taleban sympathizers in Karsais inner circle helped tried to kill him last year. He says that Taleban has informers inside the US bases.

Whats the Talebans ultimate goal?

To enforce the sharia law and islamic government in Afghanistan and to remove foreign forces from our country.

I also want to know how they justify the suicidals that are killing so many civilians. A tactic Afghans abhor as unislamic.

This is from the history of Islam. This is part of jihad and part of the fighting ..Our jihad is against the crusader. We dont want to kill civilians. We ask of the civilians, dont be close to the troops, be away from them, not to be targeted.

He denies that the Taleban run back channel talks with the Afghan government. Its not what I have heard from other sources. But he does agree what the same sources have told me. The Taleban accept they can not win by military means alone...

Evidence suggests something else. E.g. it suggests that 911 was planned and carried out by Muhammadan radicals, that America was too ignorant of the general mood in Muhammadan societies, that American security was not well prepared and that it failed in crucial moments.

Further evidence suggests that America was unable to secure any kind of "richments" in any of the invaded countries. (Why?)

on the 1st day of this month 31 USA and NATO soldiers afghanistan. A hell war is going on in afghanistan while the west is keeping it quite. These poor soldiers needs to come home and let tony blair and G w bush go there and fight and we will watch see how do they do that??
