@thegreatvinceb No they are wildly considered to be a part of the sludge metal genre along with death metal and grindcore. But really they don't fit 100% in any of the those genres.

I can agree with how it can be "Confused" with the other two genres, but in no way is it sludge...I disagree with that part. Its far from that. And sorry if I can off like a dick at first, I think I was in asshole mode that day. But u know what?...fuck al that subgenre shit anyway. They got a sub genre for every turd that falls out my ass these days. That shit is becoming a new trend along with all the "panda paint" in these new black metal bands.
