  • RIP Lucille Ball and John Ritter.

  • Ritter pretty much idolized Lucy. One awards show - being the no nonesense pro she was...He was introducing her, going on gloriously about her awards and achievements. She knew the show was running late, walks out on stage, and says, 'they all know me, let's get on with it' (or something close to that). She adored him right back, and was a fan She hosted a Three's Company retrospective as a favor. Sadly, "Life With Lucy" never worked for various reasons. Too bad, Ritter wasn't cast as her son.

  • I want to see this episode.

  • Always loved John Ritter and Lucy .... but to be honest with you, this "shtick" gets a little tiring. Slapstick comedy is okay in small doses only.

  • @vritchey Thanks

  • I can still look at any situation he does, and he's still funny. I miss that guy!

  • This episode of "Life With Lucy" was great. I laughed so hard at watching Ball and Ritter bounce beautifully off each other.

I bought a copy of all 13 episodes of "Life With Lucy" from a vendor at "ioffer" dot com. "Life With Lucy" wasn't the greatest series ever, but it certainly wasn't as awful as some people made it out to be. And the John Ritter episode was particularly funny.

It's funny (strange) that growing up my mother was a HUGE I love Lucy fan and it rubbed off on me, then when Three's Company came out we were huge fans of that show. My mother always swore Lucy was the best and I always stuck by John Ritter as the best - it wasn't till years and years later that we find out that those two are huge fans of each other, and when we found out, we were kind of like, "Well it makes perfect sense!"

  • Two unforgettable icons... reunited as legends... RIP Lucy Ball and John Ritter Together, both are so beloved and both made us laugh even during hard and troubling times.
