    I don’t agree! standard Arabic is much more important than slang words,

    Simply, if non-native person learnt the Egyptian accent ,he wouldn’t be able to communicate with other Arabian people who use different slang words but if he learnt MSA,he would communicate with ALL Arabians! Although we speak with different accents but We read,write and even speak with standard Arabic in TV shows AND OTHERS!

  • Be careful with the dialects, but otherwise very good.  That is a very old way of saying "I love you," and you might get funny looks. Ana behebak/behabik is more modern.
