A Pontiac GTO on the dyno. Sorry i don't have any results, but it's a cool looking car and has a cool sound. I think it ended up making alot less than the owner had expected, around 300 horsepower.

  • i totaly agree the newer gto's they ruined the whole old school concept REAL MUSCLE CAR look....so sad but still old school muscle is the right way to go fuck honda's! lol

  • Wow, do you have brain damage? Where on this page has anyone brought up a 389?

We might as well discuss Chevy 307's and Dodge 318's if you just want to have a spontaneous conversation about turd engines.

  • @demonsparkx AMEN!!!

  • 389 is not a "turn engine" shit head. Neither is the Dodge 318 or Chev 307 compared to other shit.

  • @GTRaycer pontiac never made a small block anything, all pontiac motors have basically the same external dimensions, the size difference came from bore and stroke measurements.a pontiac 326 350 389 400 421 428 455 pretty much are identical externally, except different motor mount locations and timing covers on some different year models

  • My friend is currently restoring a 69 Judge convertible Ram Air V car. Yes that is a V as in ram air 5

  • That was a '69 GTO...It had (most likely) a 400CI small block, factory rated at 350bhp-375 bhp (RAM AIR IV cars). It was one of great muscle cars of it's time. As for true dyno HP, I don't know...but, it's sufficient to say that manufacturers routinely under reported horsepower for insurance reasons. Ya gotta love those greedy insurance companies! NOT!

  • im gonna get me one this old model i have 2006 goat and i love it

  • 1969

  • dont you mean the chevy 305?

  • is that GTo 1968?

  • Quick lesson kiddo--each cylinder is bored .060 inch over for a total displacement increase of 14 cubic inches netting a 469 c.i.d. engine.

It's a bore increase of .060 inches, not a displacement increase of 60 inches.

Other than that, get the damn tree off the car and heat the tires up....
