Tempting to get it, just the big moulded foam thing makes it look to rigid tbh =/

Try one on at your local store first. The foam adds a little bit of stability and padding as well.

I bought this vest a few days ago and I'm very pleased with how it performs, this is not a vest that is ment for sissys who don't what it to hurt when they get hit, this is for the guys that carry ALOT. don't really worry about it being that stiff because you break it in in like 15 minutes of playing. My friend owns a TM-7 an he went full auto on me, I could feel the shots but it took down the welts

The HRT vest is a lot more stiff comared to the Merc vest,

HRT has better protection. I've felt them both at flagswipe. the merc vest seems to be more comfortable to wear though
