Most Main Components are 100% Ford OEM or Shelby American Original. Did not want to use Alum heads or chargers.
289 Hi Po Closed Chambered Heads heavily ported, 1968 Mexican 302 block, 1969 XDrilled Boss 302 Steel Crank. KBlack, 10.2 Slightly Domed Hyper Pistons. Reed custom ground cam. (one of one made). Roller cam setup.

@bbsombs It is a custom ground Reed Cam... specifically built based on the flow numbers we got from heads on the flow bench.

Ford small blocks I have found to be incredible engines....far beyond that of the dirt bag Chibbie...Chibbie never won at Lemans, Monaco etc...Ford has won there whenever the notion to race struck them..and won with ease....

I found a 71 Mexican 302 block an hour away and would love to get it to convert my 200 Maverick to it. I think it's the block only for $250 and I would love a mild build out of it since I heard these are great blocks.

Alas, I really don't know much about mechanics so I think I would be lost. Any suggestions on a good mild build for these blocks?
