Wonderful documentary about a village in Siberia where people live the old way of life with all their great survival skills. This film is a true learning experience.
In my opinion one of the best Werner Herzog films.

There are some here in the USA that still try to live close to this simple life as possible. Unfortunatly some people seem to think that we shouldnt be allowed to. One minor correction. Sable, (Pine Marten in the US) do not eat pine nuts. They are predators. Squirells and Chipmunks rely on the pine nuts and in turn are themselves the staple food for the Sable..
