Introducing 2011 NHL draft prospect Ty Rattie of the Portland Winterhawks.

Rattie has a natural goal scorer's touch and an increasing reputation for timely goals when his team needs him.

Rattie worked magic with his line mate, Sven Bartschi, this season forming a deadly 2nd line behind superstars Nino Niederreiter and Ryan Johansen. The right winger does well in odd man situations, often finishing the play and using his shot on the powerplay.

While he projects as a goal scorer, as you can see in this clip, he has some great anticipation and vision to go along with his natural finish.

Rattie can probably expect to hear his name get called anywhere from 15th to 40th in the upcoming draft. If he falls, he could be a monumental steal for a team with faith.

His game reminds me of Jordan Eberle.

All I said was Cole is not ready for top pairing minutes. Jackman is best suited at probably the bottom paring. I guess Army and the whole blues front office are idiots too for resigning jackman.....god what were they thinking...should just take the $15-$18 mil that is likely gonna cost to sign Suter and Parise.

did you not see his first call up this year? He was terrible. It is very very very rare that a Dman plays top pairing minutes his first stint in the NHL. I think the kid has a lot of potential to be a good dman. But putting out there against teams best offensive players every night would be dangerous.

I am sure Cole will see a lot more ice time this coming season. He has only played 50 or NHL games so far. So he is still very inexperienced. Playing him as the 6-7 guy is probably where he will end up this season. But who knows. Putting him into a top pairing right now could be disastrous. He is a good player and shows tons of potential, But there have been times where he was terrible. But he should improve with experience.

You fans rely on your prospects to much...we cant spend any money on a veteran who will improve our offensive core... like Doan or Parenteau.

Dude, why all the hate? We got second in the conference last year, third in the league, and got beat by probably the only team that could have beat us in the post-season...who cares about Jacks offensive game, thats not why we signed him. And I guarentee you that Tarasenko will light up the NHL, he's been playing against grown ass men since he was 16, and has better pt/game ratios than Ovi and Semin who played in the same league at the same age before they came over here...relax

the only reason Jackman has had to take those top minutes is because there really has been no alternative. What should Coliavico or pie, or shatty , or russell, have played those minutes? HELL no. None of those guys are strong enough in their own end. Though Pie has made huge strides in that dept. Jackman is not a 1-2 guy. This is why a top 4 dman is badly needed this offseason. I would argue that Polak can and has done well in a top 4 slot.
