  • Very informational... Informational as in now I know I don't need that filter. In my opinion it doesn't make too much of a noticable difference, at least not to buy. The same effect can be accomplished with some slight color corrector adjustments.

    :P

    Great vid man!

  • thank you :)

the one thing i did forget to show, which is one of the real use for that filter is, if your filming though a window and you have a lot of reflection off the glass, you spin the filter until the reflection is taken away.

  • ok, its not the most interesting video out there. But it gives you an idea what using that filter looks like., / works..

  • You need a sunny weather for the filter to work.

  • it looks dull and gray with the polarizer

  • A pointless video that does nothing to demonstrate the spectacular results from a good polarizing filter in the right conditions. They are best for bright sunlight where they make your skies deeeeeeeep blue and minimise water reflections, or in straight-on shots of glass in windows or cars where it removes all reflection....

1/10 and thats just for the effort....

  • looks like you are doing something wrong, because your results are not that dramatic. There should be a more dramatic difference in the two images.

  • the filter kinda sucks it takes away color

  • yeah... going to have to agree with some of the other comments; you're doing it wrong. it looks like in your shots it was either too overcast or you forgot to rotate the filter properly according to your angle to the sun's light. bit of a fail. hope you figured it out!

  • polarizing filter: you are doing it wrong..!

  • @alanstarkie2001 Thanks for making this point! My gf lent me her filter and I was disapointed in it's performance (I assumed it was a cheap one and was set to order a new one) ...Now I'm looking forward to trying it at different angles tomorrow.

    Not useless info at all!!

  • hm, almost no difference at all? :S

  • Hi! I use wide lens convertor on my cam. Can i mount polarization filter on wide lens convertor?

  • can you please name me the name of the song it is beautiful
