If you think about it both endings have a shred of good in it, depending on your perspective

@Mathill101 There wasn't a very high chance. They weren't completely positive it would cure the plague, but they were pretty sure. And besides, helping the beast means vaporizing millions of people even if they DIDN'T have the plague. It basically means, kill everyone who isn't a conduit.

If you were paying attention to the good ending, they weren't even sure that using the sphere would actually save anyone, it was an assumption that it might save them. The "bad" ending was the only way to guarantee that anyone would actually live. Considering there was a chance with the good ending that EVERYONE would die. It wasn't even a guarantee that another cure couldn't be found for the non-conduits in the bad ending and therefore saving everyone.

@Mathill101 What do you mean "the only way to guarantee any survivors was the bad ending?" You slaughter millions of people in that ending. And even if you didn't, they would die from the plague. Even if they hadn't added you killing Nix and Zeke it would still have been the bad choice...

Half as long.. Twice as bright..

HOW SAD

That means if there was only one conduit out of one thousand people, that means out of all the 7 billion people on the planet, only 7 MILLION people would survive

I think I felt my heart cry when Zeke tried to fruitlessly shoot Cole.
