  • I find this in Britain! Especially in employment. Consequently I'm unemployed single and still living at home at 27. I often feel inferior to everyone else.

  • WORD.

  • Thank you Micheal You right

  • and one would figure that human beings would be better than animals, as they say the human race was creatured in the image of God, and are commonly thought as being smarter than than animals; but actually humans are lower than animals when it comes to compassion.

  • Aww cheer up man, I not only bear the pain of pure alianation by most; but on top of that, have a voice/speech that many if not all interpect as making me "retarded" or slow if you will, and with the AS label and the speech they both enworsenates each other, now at 25, im afraid of totally snapping due to the pressure of a cocktail of mixed rotten emotions; anyone reading this comment with Autism or AS from the Detroit area? don't have room so I'll post another comment

  • "It is very scary to go out into a world that doesn't understand you." True that brother. I too am an autistic adult, but I live in Toronto. Your video moved me profoundly, and shame on those selfish, near-sighted parents for not working with you. Autism support centres NEED to be about accommodation for life, not parents feeling better about themselves.

Good luck on your quest, brother. Don't lose hope.

  • You are in my prayers. If you have any children, or if you plan to have any, do not ever speak to anyone from Child Protective Services without having a lawyer present, and do not ever sign anything for them.

  • I wish you the best of luck! There certainly should be support groups for autistic adults. I, to, was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, and I was discriminated against because Arlington County CPS stole my daughter from me on accusations that I was unfit to raise her. They never offered me any services to help autistic parents.

  • Way to go! Keep up the good work!
