The World of Biophysics

• Biophysics is an interdisciplinary science. One could say it is the place where physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics all meet.

• Biophysics is the physics of biology, just as astrophysics is the physics of astronomy and nuclear physics is the physics of atomic nuclei.

One can classify the many topics of biophysics
into two broad classifications subdivided up into six categories.
